Hey Todd – nice blog – really shows the glamour! Tell Willie he didn’t ruin the kids Christmas after all – the presents only smelled a little bit like beer after we cleaned em’ up:)

Ah, yes the glamour. Well, you have to work with what you got. What I have is a bunch of pictures of people hanging around looking depressed. Perhaps people will realize now that, no, we’re not gods like you thought. We’re human. Human musicians who laugh and love and just want to collect a paycheck while bringing a smile to your face and a tear to your eye and not playing “Tea For Two” too god-damned fast for the elderly dancers.

Anyway, Willie seemed pretty mortified at what happened (somehow he managed to spill his beer on the christmas presents at Mary Sue’s party. That’s my Willie.) It’s good to hear that he didn’t destroy christmas for your children.
