OK, I know these shots are hardly great phototography (or even great “lomography”) but hopefully they’re worth viewing once.  

Fountain at the foot of the Capitoline.  

A bridge. I stumbled drunkenly a few steps after this, fortunately breaking my fall with the Lomo. 

Negotiating the back streets. “Streets” in Venice were generally built only wide enough to accomodate the occasional filth-cart. Gentlemen and other wealthy fruitcakes typically travelled by gondola.  

Gypsy Jazz in Portland

Patrick Saussois, a gypsy-jazz guitarist from Paris. He played last weekend at Artichoke Music in Portland, supported by Seattle’s Pearl Django. They let me in to take some pictures. It was very dark.
